Achievements
ATKOSoft is recognized today as one of the leading European companies in the field of Medical Informatics. It is invited to present its software and research results in most major European events and forums related to the above: In March 1998 ATKOSoft was invited by the European Commission as a consulting expert to a workshop organized by the European Parliament for the Disabled and Elderly. In this workshop the RISE Project (Home Care for the Elderly etc) and the concept of Coordinated Home Care was presented to the members of the European Parliament. Was an Invited Expert to the European Commission for Information Society issues. Is a member of the Advisory Workshop to EU's DG XV. Is Advisor to the European Parliament for the Planning the Fifth Framework Programme (1999-2003) Awards
The European Information Technology Prize "ITEA'96" Winner
	ATKOSoft was awarded a 1996 European IT Prize for it’s amedLineã Software suite, "...for excellence in converting results from information technology research to innovative products for the marketplace"
It is worth mentioning that ATKOSoft is the only company awarded a prize in the Medical Informatics field, and the first Greek Company to receive this award. The award was given by President Santer in a prestigious Ceremony held in Brussels for that purpose

ATKOSoft’s Frontis S/W Suite among the 33 leading applications of eHealth in Europe
	During the European eHealth 2003 Ministerial Conference and Exhibition: ICT (Information & Communication Technology) for Health issues, which took place in Brussels, the 33 most innovative Healthcare services of all country members were presented, combining pioneering ideas with advanced technology, in order to deliberate technological contribution to the Healthcare sector. One of the 33 proposals, which stood out of the 179 submissions, was Atkosoft’s Frontis Integrated suite of software applications for Home Care services management, which has been implemented and successfully commissioned in the “HYGEIA” Hospital of Athens.

	The Frontis s/w application was included in the “Top 10” Finalist at the Oracle Partners Network Innovation Award 2005

Wealthy jacket «Wearable Health Care System» has won the “Avantex Innovation Prize 2005”

	The Wealthy Jacket ("Wearable Health Care System"), which was created during the implementation of the European Project Wealthy, that was supported by the 5th Framework IST Programme of the European Union, has won the “Avantex Innovation Prize 2005”

The EU project WEALTHY was presented at the eHealth 2005

	The EU Project Wealthy was presented as Success story from European Research in eHealth, at the High-Level Conference for eHealth, that took place in May 2005 in Tromso, Norway
