Within the framework of its cooperation with clients in Greece and abroad as well as within EC Project Consortia, ATKOSoft has signed several agreements for the provision of Project Management Services.

The European Commission has, repeatedly and for many years, trusted ATKOSoft with both the direct implementation of IT projects (i.e. EUROSTAT) and the management of Pan-European Consortia implementing R&D projects.

In such cases and for each project, ATKOSoft undertakes the following activities:

• Management of project workplan and coordination of tasks of project participants.

• Financial Project Management.

• Development of Technological Strategy of the project.

• Coordination of project deliverables preparation and submission.

• Monitoring of project deadlines.

• Management of technological or managerial problems that may arise during project implementation.

• Coordination of project meetings and workshops.

• Development of dissemination strategy and workplan and oordination of dissemination activities addressed to scientific audiences.

• Adoption of any international standards pertaining to technological implementation of the project.

Throughout its life, ATKOSoft has successfully coordinated complicated IT and R&D projects including organizations such as Southern Health Board in Ireland, Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Sweden, USL5, the Local Health Unit for Toscany in Italy, Hospital Egas Moniz in Portugal, the Office for National Statistics in the U.K. etc.
