In this way, ATKOSoft software applications may allow the structured communication and data exchange between different people or departments within an organization, between different health organizations or even between different local health networks, regardless of their geographical location. For example, a doctor who works at a Hospital may access electronic patient records from his home PC. The workflow between different departments may be automated even when these are located at different buildings or areas whereas doctors in a Hospital may cooperate on the same patient files even with specialists that are located in other countries or continents.

Furthermore, ΑTKOSoft Technology supports the development of Virtual Networks. In this way, multiple Networks may be developed, each one of which, having its own Managing Organization and its own affiliated healthcare service providers while keeping its own independence.

The possibility of connection via any means, offered by ΑTKOSoft Technology, exists for all software applications.
