How aMedline
addresses the needs |
|
Need for high quality
healthcare services |
The aMedLine
software enables the doctor to have immediate access, at any time, of
all real medical data, diagnoses, treatments composing patient history,
facilitating thus the task of diagnosis, monitoring and therapy. This
translates into high quality services.
The application gives to the doctor access to the MHR that integrates
all medical history of the patient including real medical readings,
previous diagnoses, therapies, etc. Furthermore it offers him or her
very advanced tools for managing all this data - via correlations of
data - which make much easier the task of diagnosis, monitoring and
thus, treatment. Through these tools, the doctor can predefine
"monitoring profiles" that correlate specific sets of data in table,
list or graph format for specific patients, patient types or medical
conditions. |
|
Reduction of "queues"
and waiting times in waiting for exam results or for medical visits,
e.t.c. |
The aMedLine
system automates the workflow within the organization, reducing thus,
waiting time for patients. The patient does not have to wait to receive
the results of his or her tests since these are automatically accessible
to the doctor via the aMedLine
MHR. In addition, waiting time in separate doctor offices is reduced
since the doctor has immediate access at the press of a key to all real
patient data without waiting for them to be given to him or her by the
patient, be retrieved by his or her assistant, etc. |
|
Deliverance from the
role of "coordinator" of medical information and services |
The aMedLine
software basically relieves the patient from the role of "coordinator"
of medical services. This role is assigned to the patient MHR. The MHR
integrates all medical history of the patient including real medical
readings, previous diagnoses, therapies, etc. and makes to the doctor
immediately available all information on the patient. This information
remains available to this or any other doctor of the organization at any
time. Τhus, even at a future medical visit or hospitalization, all real
patient data get automatically accessed by the doctor without need for
the patient to store them, retrieve them, bring them with him or her,
etc. Finally, the patient does not need to be the messenger of doctor
orders to clinical labs as these are transferred automatically to the
clinical labs. |
